Entropic Anodized Titanium Solstice

Anodized & Engraved Solstice

The Solstice is available in two distinctive finishes. "Entropic" anodizing produces complex, random patterns and striking colorations, with no two knives alike. Engraved models feature a laser-engraved handle in a topographic-inspired or western scroll pattern, for a timeless look with a distinctive edge.

What is Entropic Anodizing?

The anodizing process combines the use of heat and ferric acid to create a randomly patterned oxide layer on the surface of titanium. The resulting finish is sometimes called "entropic anodizing" in reference to entropy, the state of randomness and disorder of matter.

The oxide layer formed during the anodizing process is extremely durable and won't wear off. If you find your anodized handle scales dull after prolonged use, a quick wipe with Windex brings the finish back to it's original luster.
