Slipjoint pocket knives are among the oldest knife designs in the world, and with the right construction and materials, an elegant, functional slipjoint is a true gentleman's accessory. In collaboration with custom knifemaker Mike Wallace, we've spent the past two years perfecting a slipjoint design with a clear mission: to create a simple, stylish, and versatile knife that's legal to carry in as many places as possible.

Made in Maniago, Italy and featuring a 2.75" Bohler M390 steel blade, a compact Titanium handle, and smooth "walk and talk" function with a solid half-stop and satisfying, secure close. The signature fold-over ambidextrous pocket clip can be replaced with an included "clip-cover" for those times when you want to carry this knife clipless and as compact as possible.

With a blade under 3" in length, our our modern interpretation of the classic non-locking slipjoint design is safe and legal to carry in many places where locking knives are restricted.

Produced in Austria, Bohler M390 steel is a premium stainless steel known for its exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. Its fine-grained microstructure and high vanadium and chromium content make it highly wear-resistant and durable. Thanks to its excellent balance of hardness and ease of maintenance, M390 is a top choice for those seeking a high-performance blade that stays sharp longer, even under heavy use.

Our signature pocket clip was designed to look good from any angle. Whether you have your clip situated for left or right-handed carry, the trough and screw holes for reversing the clip are concealed. Made from durable stainless steel. Includes a "clip-cover" and extra screws for those times when you want to carry your knife without a pocket clip.

Unlike traditional slipjoints, which usually lack a pocket clip, the Sovranto is designed for versatility. The ambidextrous, fold-over deep carry clip can be easily swapped out for the included "clip cover," allowing you to carry it clipless for a more compact, streamlined feel whenever you prefer.

Classic Slipjoint Action

The Sovranto delivers ideal "walk and talk" functionality, featuring a seamless glide, a solid half-stop, and a satisfying, secure closure, all hallmarks of a well-crafted slipjoint knife. "Walk" describes the smooth movement of the tang along the spring as the blade opens, while "Talk" refers to the crisp, audible snap when it closes.
