Coming in June - The Regis is a collaboration between Ocaso and Demko Knives - rooted in years of shared history and a friendship built around knives. The idea was simple: take Demko's engineering and put it in a slim, refined everyday carry knife.
Made in the Demkos' Wampum, Pennsylvania shop and featuring a 3" CPM MagnaCut blade, titanium handle, and Andrew Demko's patented Shark-Lock - adapted for the Regis with a lower-profile fin to suit the knife's slim silhouette. The Shark-Lock is one of the most significant innovations in folding knife design in decades, offering one-handed operation, exceptional lockup strength, and an action that's as satisfying to use as it is reliable. The stonewashed blade and handle give the Regis a composed, understated look, offered in two hardware finishes: satin or gold titanium nitride coated. MagnaCut steel holds an edge under real use, and fine jimping along the spine provides a confident grip and control. The Regis carries like a gentleman's folder and performs well beyond its profile.
The Regis does not qualify for discounts, including GovX.
CPM MagnaCut Steel
MagnaCut steel is a premium particle metallurgy stainless steel engineered specifically for knives, offering an exceptional blend of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Its optimized composition results in a fine, stable microstructure that holds a sharp edge without sacrificing durability. Capable of achieving high hardness while maintaining excellent toughness, MagnaCut resists chipping and wear under demanding use. Combined with its outstanding stainless properties, it delivers long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance, making it ideal for everyday carry knives.
Grade 5 Titanium
The handle scales are machined from Grade 5 (6Al-4V) stonewashed Titanium. Titanium is ideal for high-end, high-performance knives because it is both lightweight and has a high strength-to-density ratio.
Titanium Nitride Coated Hardware (Gold Model)
Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating is a hard, wear-resistant ceramic finish with a distinct, brilliant gold color.
Ceramic Caged Bearings
Equipped with premium ceramic caged bearings for silky smooth, lightning fast opening action. Ceramic bearings do not rust, corrode, or react with lubrication.
Stainless Steel Fold Over Ambidextrous Deep-Carry Pocket Clip
Our signature pocket clip was designed to look good from any angle. Whether you have your clip situated for left or right-handed carry, the trough and screw holes for reversing the clip are concealed. Made from durable stainless steel.

What is the Shark Lock?
The Shark-Lock is a spine-mounted locking mechanism for folding knives, designed by Andrew Demko. Its signature shark-fin protrusion pulls back to actuate a spring-driven locking arm, combining one-handed operation with serious strength and smooth, reliable action.
How It Works
When the blade is opened, a spring-driven lock arm moves upward and forward into a notch in the blade tang, seating beneath a lock pin. The mechanism moves both forward/back and up/down, allowing for a larger blade tang engagement area and better mechanical advantage. To close, pull the fin rearward with your thumb or index finger, similar to actuating a flipper.
What Makes It Different
Most knife locks interface directly with the blade, placing all bending stress on the lock bar. The Shark-Lock sandwiches a pin between the lock and blade tang, distributing that load into the handle scales. The lock pin is also positioned further back from the pivot than most designs, reducing the mechanical advantage any force has against the lock bar.
Under load, the lock engagement tightens rather than strains. Pressure reinforces the lockup. The drive spring is housed inside the lock arm itself, keeping it isolated from debris. The result is fixed-blade strength in a fully one-hand operable folder, closable without putting fingers in the blade path.
