Designed by custom knifemaker Andrew Demko, the Lucent delivers fast, effortless blade deployment in a lightweight, stylish package. The slim 6061-T6 aluminum handle features an elegant cross-hatch pattern that offers a secure grip, while jimping on the top and underside of the handle ensure a firm hold during blade release and retraction. The blade is made from high-performance Böhler M390 steel for exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. For ultra-compact carry, the Mini model features a California-legal 1.9" blade and weighs just 1.5 ounces, while the Large boasts a striking 3.5" harpoon-style blade. We've anodized the aluminum handle in a classy blush pink that pairs beautifully with the satin-finished blade and hardware.

The design thoughtfulness is carried through to the ambidextrous deep-carry pocket clip, which wraps around the handle for a modern, sleek appearance. In your pocket this knife looks about as modest and unassuming as possible.

We stand behind our products 100%. All Ocaso knives carry a limited lifetime warranty. We warrant that our knives are free of defects in workmanship and materials. If one of our knives ever breaks or fails because of a material or manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace the knife. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage, breakage or failure caused by misuse, lack of normal maintenance, or disassembly.

Produced by the Böhler-Uddeholm Metallurgical Group in Austria using a proprietary 3rd generation Microclean powder technology, M390 is a widely revered "super-steel" due to its extremely high wear resistance and corrosion resistance. M390 is a high-performance steel that stays sharp for extended use, making it ideal for everyday carry knives.

Automatic knives rely on tight tolerances and internal springs that require upkeep to keep them in good working condition. If your Lucent misfires or disengages, this is a safety feature, not a malfunction, and the internal spring can be reset.

Taking cues from our bestselling gentleman’s knife, the Solstice, custom knife maker Andrew Demko designed the Lucent with the same slim lines and minimalist styling. Lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum makes it comfortable for all-day carry.

Style and Precision

The double-action automatic mechanism makes opening and closing fast and easy. Simply slide the switch up to deploy the blade and back down to retract it. The built-in safety mechanism prevents the blade from fully deploying if an object impedes it when the trigger is pushed.

Its fine-grained microstructure and high vanadium and chromium content ensure durability and wear resistance. Outside of blade length restrictions in your state (check AKTI.org for current laws), the choice comes down to personal preference. The Mini features a 1.9" blade and weighs 1.5 oz. The Large features a 3.5" blade and weighs 2.2 oz. California residents must choose the Mini, as California law restricts OTF blades to 2 inches.

Automatic knives incorporate built-in safety mechanisms to prevent accidental deployment. If the blade disengages or fails to deploy fully, it's not a malfunction. This intentional failure helps avoid unintended openings, especially when the knife is carried or stored. If your knife misfires and needs to be "reset", follow the instructions in our guide HERE

Every Ocaso knife is warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for life. If your knife fails due to a manufacturing defect, we'll repair or replace it. Normal wear and tear is not covered.
