The Lucent, our new dual-action, out-the-front automatic was designed by Andrew Demko to offer quick, effortless blade deployment in a lightweight, stylish package. The slim and compact 6061-T6 aluminum handle features an elegant cross-hatch pattern that offers both a secure grip and style. Jimping on the top and underside of the handle ensure a firm hold during blade release and retraction. Crafted from high-performance Böhler M390 steel for exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. For ultra-compact carry, the Mini model features a California-legal 1.9" blade and weighs just 1.5 ounces, while the Large boasts a striking 3.5" harpoon-style blade.

The design thoughtfulness is carried through to the ambidextrous deep-carry pocket clip, which wraps around the handle for a modern, sleek appearance. In your pocket this knife looks about as modest and unassuming as possible.

Produced by the Böhler-Uddeholm Metallurgical Group in Austria using a proprietary 3rd generation Microclean powder technology, M390 is a widely revered "super-steel" due to its extremely high wear resistance and corrosion resistance. M390 is a high-performance steel that stays sharp for extended use, making it ideal for everyday carry knives.

Taking design cues from our bestselling gentleman’s knife, the Solstice, custom knife maker Andrew Demko designed the Lucent with the same slim, clean lines and minimalist styling - perfect for both gentlemen and ladies. Ultra-lightweight T6-6061 aluminum makes this knife comfortable for all-day carry.

Style and Precision

The double-action automatic mechanism makes opening and closing fast and easy. Simply slide the switch up to deploy the blade and back down to retract it. The built-in safety mechanism prevents the blade from fully deploying if an object impedes it when the trigger is pushed.

Just got my large satin Lucent and I could not be more impressed with it. The fit and finish is impeccable, the action silky smooth, and, best of all, you don't have to have a thumb shaped like Popeye's arm to actuate it! I own several top dollar OTF's, and it's the easiest firing one of them all. It manages this without feeling the least bit flimsy or cheap. The beautiful, harpoon shaped blade was very sharp right out of the box, and a few swipes on my ceramic sticks had it shaving hair thin slivers off a sheet of paper with ease. I'm lucky enough to live in a state that allows me to EDC this knife. Now, my only dilemma is choosing between the Lucent and my Solstice Red Fat Carbon Damascus, which, surprisingly is almost the same size and only slightly lighter!

It is immediately clear this is a very well constructed knife. The overall - badass / elegant esthetic captures everyone's eye immediately. The extremely smooth action is super addictive. Last but not least, the edge geometry is perfect for.everyday use. Cutting rope, wood, cardboard, or paper this knife is very sharp!

Absolutely perfect. I bought one for myself and one to give as a gift and I'm very glad I did. Even better than I hoped it would be. My first Ocaso and I'm already looking to get another.

The new Lucent Mini is a phenomenal CA legal OTF that you need in your pocket. Superb build, snappy deploy and a solid grippy and classy chassis make this a true winner in my collection. Ocaso continues to set the bar of excellence. Thank you
